Core values at XtremeLabs

The five core values every XtremeLabs employee strives to embody, with real examples of teams living them out day to day.

XtremeLabs has transformed over its nearly fifteen years as a company, but its core product, hands-on digital training labs, has kept the same mission: giving learners real-world practice and competency training in a friendly, encouraging environment. As the company's vision has grown, the learners using its labs and the organizations it partners with have grown too.

Several years ago, the XtremeLabs team sat down and defined five core values that every employee strives to embody.

No Fine Print

At XtremeLabs, we strive to communicate openly and transparently with our customers and within our organization. We provide all the information from the start to set expectations, so there is no confusion over time.

Listen First and Then Listen Some More

We believe solutions only come after understanding the problem. To understand, we must first listen and then be understood. It is often easy to misunderstand a problem or situation, so we aim to be thoughtful in our responses and invest in the solutions that will help our customers.

Choose Positivity

We approach things in a positive and optimistic way. We avoid complaining and always strive to offer solutions to problems.

Execution Matters

Finding solutions and results matters, but so does the process we use to get there. We strive to live up to our commitments within our internal teams, across our organization, and with our customers and partners.

Learn It All

We are curious about technology, training, and education. We want to know how things work, why they matter, and what we can do to improve, and we care deeply about bringing learning and technology together to improve the world.

A few examples of XtremeLabs employees living out these values: the Support and Content teams consistently learn new technologies and pursue Microsoft certifications, with one team member earning twelve certifications in a single year (Learn It All). The Content Team holds multiple meetings with clients on custom lab builds to fully understand their requirements and goals before proposing a solution (Listen First and Then Listen Some More). The Sales Team lays out platform expectations with new customers before labs are purchased, and offers a free lab demo ahead of every training session (No Fine Print). The award-winning Support Team works around the clock so every case is handled properly, coordinating with the Content Team when needed (Execution Matters). And the Marketing Team has taken on new initiatives such as the eXL annual conference, monthly MCT Meetups, and the XtremeLabs Webinar Series (Choose Positivity).
